In the event of a fire, hydrants assure a fast water supply in huge volume. We strategically install them in places that are easily accessible and provides the flow of water straight into the building from the main pipes.
Fire hydrants often go through wear and tear in short durations, even when not used. This is why RCA guarantees complete servicing of the fire hydrants on a regular basis to avoid a mishap in a real situation, should an actual fire breakout.
The building code of Australia (Part E1. 3) requires fire hydrants to be installed in all parts of the building. This is in accordance with the Australian Standard 2419.1 – 2005. The standard also specifies, and we follow, that the hydrant system should be designed to meet all the operational requirements of the attending fire service.
